FlyTec 6015 Reference Card
I just got the FlyTec 6015 vario and I am dying to try it out, but the rain won't stop.
So I decided to spend a little time creating a handy cheat sheet for it so that when I get to the mountain, I will remember how to use it.
You can print the PDF Version, cut it out and fold it to obtain a 3 inch by 2.5 inch (8 x 5.5 cm) card, suitable for laminating and keeping with your vario. Or save the image file (right click - save) and manipulate it in any way you wish before printing. Free to share under the Creative Commons License.
I hope the reference card is self-explanatory, and if it isn't there is always the FlyTec manual [pdf] to fall back on. A bar over a button means hold it down for a bit. No bar means press and release.
Only the features I would expect to use before and during a flight are included. All the setup features can be done using the full manual in the warmth and comfort of your home.
If you have owned this vario for a while, you probably don't need this card unless you are on the north side of the half century, like me, and tend to forget how to use your equipment between flights.
