A cruise on the Westerdam around the South China Sea, Hong Kong, China, Okinawa, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore.

Unable to dock at Ushaia due to the strong winds, we headed around Cape Horn in rough seas and crossed the perilous Drake Passage to Antarctica.

Our Antarctic cruise headed towards the Falkland Islands (Malvinas if you are Argentinian) where we stopped for a day. A four wheel drive excursion took us to the beaches where the penguins breed.
